Hey everybody,
Guess what? This is my first blog! I have heard so much about them that I decided to investigate and it looked easy enough to set up so Voila! here it is! Just so you know, my name is Johanna Humphrey and I am the Media Coordinator (Librarian) at a Middle School. I thought it would be cool if me and the students there could have a place to talk about books that we have read (or want to read), and then I thought about how much cooler it would be if other people could interact with us on books, so I decided to try blogging. So far, I really like it!
I hope the word will get out and lots of students from all over will begin posting their thoughts about reading, favorite books they've read, reccommendations, etc.
I will be setting up places for reviews and things like that later, but for now, if everyone would just post your feelings about reading and remember, your feelings do not have to be all positive. It's a fact, some students don't like to read so just say what's on your mind, but remember to keep it appropriate...no profanity or off-color topics. Also, when posting, just give your first name and state, no other identifying information is necessary!
